Spiritual Life Center

We have several ministries with a Spirtuality focus.  The physical focal point of most of them is our Spiritual Life Center (SLC).  The vision of the SLC is to be an oasis, a place of refreshment, where believers can encounter the Lord and be continually renewed and transformed. It is a Center where we can grow in Christian spirituality and wholeness through individual and communal prayer. The goal for the SLC is to invite parish ministers for prayer and study. We hope that ever increasing numbers of parishioners will heed the call of God’s voice within for quiet time in our hectic and driven world. We will also respond to the needs and desires of the parish at large when designing programs and prayer days.

The doors of our new SLC opened in September 1999. Adult Formation Classes are offered throughout the year. The Charismatic Prayer Group, Small Christian Community (SCC) Core Group, Baptism Preparation, Novena Prayer Groups and Men's Fellowship now use the SLC for their prayer time. The Adoration Ministry holds Adoration Monday through Friday and on holy days. Advent and Lenten days and evenings of recollection and retreat days have been held.

The SLC continually informs and invites ministry leaders and the parish at large to come to our oasis. Through the parish bulletin and other publications and at parish liturgies, we let everyone know about the various offerings scheduled throughout the year.
